How Do I Know If I Need a Business Coach?
What is Business Coaching?
Business coaching is a relationship between a business owner and a business coach. The Coach’s role is to help you design a vision for your business that aligns with your values and goals for your life, your strategic objective With that Vision in hand your coach provides you with guidance, support and accountability that you need to set and move through your goals, allowing you to take your business from where it is to where you want it to be.
How Do I Know if Business Coaching Is Right for Me?
The fact that you are asking this question means that you have already realised that there is something that is missing. It may be that you have reached the peak of your knowledge but know there must be more, or where you are really stuck and do not know where to go from here, or maybe you are just realising that business can be lonely, all of these are some of the reasons why people choose to engage with a Business Coach. But not all people respond well to coaching and my suggestion is always, lets meet and discuss your business and how coaching can work for you. This first session is so that you can ascertain whether coaching is right for you, and it is a complimentary sessions so will only cost you about 90 minutes of your time and you will definitely learn something!
Do You Only Work With Established Companies?
On the contrary, I tend to work mainly with smaller companies who are on their way up! Most of my clients have been in business for two or more years but a number are quite literally start up companies. My willingness to work with small companies is reflected in my fee structure which tends to cater more for the small business.
Do You Offer Ongoing Consulting Services?
A2M Consultants is both a Consulting Company and a Business Coaching Firm and as such we cater for both types of clients. A consultancy is very often contracted to solve a specific issue while a Business Coach is more an ongoing partnership which evolves as we progress in your business.
Can I afford a coach?
Business coaching should be seen as an investment. As such the costs of engaging with a coach should be weighed against the benefits you will receive. In the case of A2M Consultants, we offer a guarantee that you will see a benefit that far outweighs the cost of your investment after six months or will get our services for free until you do! This is obviously dependant on you fulfilling your obligations to the coach in respect of payment, attendance, doing the ‘homework’ etc. Notwithstanding this our fee structure is extremely geared to smaller businesses and if you are turning over in excess of R50000-00 per month we have a fee structure geared to your business.
About Michael Andrew
Management and Business Consultants
Michael Andrew has lived in Pretoria since 2002 and has worked with countless business owners to improve their businesses through coaching.
He holds an MBA (DeMontfort University), a BCom (Unisa) and a BSocSc (UKZN).
His work experience includes 27 years at SARS, where he spent the last 10 years in senior management and as the SARS management coach. This involved training and coaching managers at all levels and introducing a management system that encouraged goal-oriented productivity management. In 2010, after leaving SARS, Michael joined ActionCOACH, an international coaching firm whose responsibilities were to coach business owners to increase profits and help them grow their businesses.
In 2015, he left ActionCOACH and started his own Consultancy, focusing on Small to Medium Businesses that cannot afford the mainstream coaching firms but need guidance. Being an independent Coach allows him to tailor packages to each client and assist them in growing their business.

Mission
A2M Consultants Mission is to mentor and educate small and medium business owners through a process of mentoring and coaching. Through this South Africa will have a thriving small and medium business sector which will be the mainstay of the South African Economy which will employ more and more people in a thriving sector.
The primary Goals of this mission is to see business owners take up their rightful place in the economy as part of a thriving and growing national economy which can be counted on to employ and grow the wealth of each employee along with their own wealth.

Along with the values normally espoused by businesses of honesty, integrity, excellent levels of service, delivering these services on time and to the highest quality; A2M Consultants also places a great emphasis on family values believing that the family unit is the basis for a moral and ethical society. All our work therefore tries to ensure that business owners have the time to focus on their families and the needs of their spouses and children while building and running a thriving business which provides for their personal needs and allows them to achieve their own personal goals.
